JoJo’s World: Thinking About HHN

In this vlog, JoJo wanders around Universal Studios talking about various things, including the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights.

JoJo starts the vlog at Universal Studio Store, where he notices the presence of classic characters like Betty Boop and Chucky. “They’re not forgetting their classics,” he remarks. He also notes the sale of Marvel and Harry Potter merchandise. JoJo mentions, as he has said before, that his dad used to read the Harry Potter books to him at bedtime. He says it put him to sleep quickly.

One of the themes of the vlog is Halloween, and JoJo talks about his initial fear and reluctance to attend Halloween Horror Nights. “I’m a scaredy-cat,” he confesses. He eventually grew to love the event for its culture and socializing opportunities.

JoJo suddenly spots that the Villain-Con Minion Blast ride is open. “I think they’re just testing it with cast members today,” he speculates, expressing his excitement and wish that he could ride it. He shares insights from people who have ridden the new Villain-Con Minion Blast attraction. They describe it as standing on a conveyor belt and shooting.

JoJo then discusses the Halloween Horror Nights 2023 tickets, recommending the Frequent Fear Pass for those who plan to attend multiple times. He expresses his love for the Halloween Horror Nights and encourages viewers to attend, even if they’re scared. “Universal is definitely the place to be for Halloween for adults,” he declares. He also talks about his plans to go to Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland.

In a surprising encounter, JoJo meets Beetlejuice in the park and takes a selfie with him. “I’ve never seen Beetlejuice just roaming around in the park,” he exclaims.

JoJo then reveals his plan for the next six months, focusing on things he likes rather than things that are trending. He asks viewers for vlogging suggestions, indicating he’s run out of ideas.

In Minion Land, JoJo tries a banana-flavored Minion ice cream bar and surprisingly enjoys it. He doesn’t usually like banana sweets or ice cream. “This is basically like a Klondike bar but instead of vanilla in the middle, it’s banana ice cream,” he describes. He gives it a solid 8.5 out of 10.

Resuming his thoughts about HHN, JoJo discusses the differences between Universal Studios (Orlando and Hollywood) for the rules on recording in the houses at Halloween Horror Nights. He says that people are not allowed to record in them in Orlando.

Walking by the Race Through New York building, JoJo see Hashtag the Panda leaning out a window and he plays a game of rock-paper-scissors with the character.

Continuing his stroll through Universal, JoJo reveals that his least favorite ride ever is The Simpsons Ride. “I will never go on this ride unless I’m doing it for content,” he states. On the flip side, he reveals that his favorite ride in Universal Studios is the ET Adventure. Despite it not being a great ride (“Little kids don’t even like it”), he explains that he likes it for its chill vibe, short wait times, and nostalgic memories. “E.T. Adventure is so unique and I don’t think they’ll ever make something like this again.”

JoJo ends the vlog by xpressing his excitement for Villain-Con Minion Blast attraction and this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
