JoJo’s World: Epcot with Mel

JoJo is with his new girlfriend, Mel, at Epcot, a place Mel hasn’t been to in several years. They start off by looking at the fountain at the entrance. JoJo asks her what she thinks of it and she replies, honestly, “I’m trying to understand the artistic meaning behind it.” JoJo, on the other hand, has his mind on the fact that guests are now able, once again, to design a car at Test Track, a feature he plans to experience later.

JoJo notes the lack of physical distancing and mask requirements, signifying a return to normalcy. He also tells viewers that he will be going live on YouTube and so he needs to buy a fuel rod charger for his phone, so that he doesn’t run out of battery.

Before JoJo and Mel go on Test Track, they decide to eat at the Sunshine Griddle, JoJo’s “favorite place to eat”. They enjoy avocado toast and “Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew Cocktail”, a drink with Kahlúa. Mel comments, “Everything you love about coffee, and alcohol, at the same time.”

They attempt to go on Test Track, but there is a long line due to the attraction’s popularity after a rainstorm, and the two abort the attempt after waiting in line for 30 minutes. Instead, they visit the Epcot Experience, where JoJo notes the upcoming Ratatouille attraction and the new nighttime show in the World Showcase Lagoon.

Moving on, in Norway they see the character Anna at a distance, and JoJo expresses his hope for a return of up close encounters, pleading, “Disney, bring back meet and greets soon.” They ride Frozen and JoJo says, “So you know what’s amazing about this right now? We don’t have face masks on, so we can sing our hearts out.” The way JoJo sings, nearby guests may not be so pleased.

At this point, JoJo says he is going to start his livestream. After he finished it, he tells viewers that he thinks it went really well. In particular, he noted, “Y’all hyped up Mel so much!”

After that, they go into the Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-long, enjoying the experience in a full theater and noting that people are singing along. JoJo loved it, saying “Honestly, that was the best Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along I’ve ever experienced. Everyone in that crowd was singing their hearts out. Thank you so much for making that experience wonderful.”

After a stop at the Rose and Crown, where JoJo liked that people could now stay inside and talk to people, they went to Journey Into Imagination with Figment. There they met up with JoJo’s friend Farris, and rode the attraction, a first time for Mel. After the ride, they have fun with the interactive elements in the Imagination Pavilion, such as the dancing instrument pads, although JoJo keeps complaining to Mel that she’s not doing things right.

The next ride is Soarin’, followed by Living with the Land. They joke about the widely reported story of the guest jumping off the ride to grab a cucumber. JoJo is obnoxiously loud as always on the ride and the guests in front of them, who are trying to listen to the narrartion, turn around to glare at JoJo. Since he has no empathy for other human beings, JoJo just laughs it off.

The final place they go to for their time at Epcot is The Seas. It’s been raining, so they never get to ride Test Track, which disappoints Mel. JoJo, tells her, “that means we’ll have to just come back sometime.” Assuming their relationship lasts for a while, that’s likely.
