At the start of the vlog, JoJo is at his apartment saying goodbye Taya Miller. JoJo has been spending time with her recently, first at Disneyland, then together on a Disney cruise. The vlog cuts to JoJo with the other woman in his life, his girlfriend Mel, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. JoJo reminds viewers that Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary is approaching in 48 days, and explains, “What that means is there’s a lot of new stuff coming to Walt Disney World and today, I’m going to showcase what to expect from Animal Kingdom.” He explains that while there may not be as many new additions as in other parks, there are still notable changes to highlight during their visit.
JoJo states that the first thing they are going to do is go to Pandora to get something to eat. However, they make some stops and detours along the way. First, they make a stop at the Tree of Life, where JoJo discusses an upcoming addition for the 50th anniversary called Beacons of Magic: “They’re going to have a new projection up here on the Tree of Life at night time. It’s going to be filled with fireflies.” Next, they go over to Pizzafari, long enough for JoJo to point out that it’s now reopen and for him to read off the restaurant’s list of entrees.

Having gotten back on the path toward Pandora, JoJo and Mel instead decide to go to Nomad Lounge. “This is a great date spot. If you’re ever looking to bring your husband, your wife, a girl, a guy, bring him to Nomad in Animal Kingdom, if you’re around. It’s cool,” JoJo says as he reaches his hand out toward Mel, indicating who and what he’s talking about.
From their table on the deck, they watch a series of floating character cavalcades pass by. For JoJo, it’s heaven, as he yells at the characters and interacts with them. In between cavalcades, he and Mel order drinks, with JoJo recommending the tequila-based Hightower Rocks cocktail. For food, JoJo get a tuna poke bowl while Mel goes for the Tiffins bread service. After their meal, Mel rates the overall experience at Nomad’s Lounge as “11 out of 10.” JoJo reiterates the romantic possibilities, saying, “To all of my future college program people, to all my future vacationer people, this is a great spot for a date.”

After their meal at Nomad’s Lounge, JoJo and Mel proceed to the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride. During their safari, they experience an unexpected delay. JoJo explains, “We’re in a traffic jam,” as giraffes cross the road to seek shelter from incoming rain.
As the rain continues, the pair decide to get coffee. Then once the weather clears, they head to the Dinosaur ride. Following this, they visit the Discovery River Amphitheater, where JoJo discusses an upcoming attraction for the 50th anniversary. He states, “All we know is there’s going to be a lot of kites,” referring to the new daytime show called Kite Tails, set to debut on October 1st.

Next, they ride Expedition Everest, taking advantage of a short wait time. After the thrill ride, they spend time at a spot where they can splash water on riders of Kali River Rapids. Their day continues with a viewing of “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” show.
Suddenly caught in heavy rain, JoJo and Mel dash to Satu’li Canteen for shelter and a meal. Once the downpour subsides and they’ve eaten, they attend the “It’s Tough to be a Bug” show. Despite having just had dinner, they stop at Mr. Kamal’s food stand for seasoned fries, which JoJo points outs that he’s getting it because he like it so much, not because he’s hungry.

With only half an hour left before the park closes, they get in the queue for Flight of Passage, finding almost no wait. JoJo remarks about the empty queue, stating, “Look who’s behind us, no one. Who’s in front of us, no one.” Taking advantage of the opportunity, JoJo records a TikTok video in the usually crowded line.
For their final ride of the day, they go on Na’vi River Journey. After that, when the park has closed, JoJo and Mel review their day. In conclusion, JoJo mentions one more change for the 50th anniversary: “There is, I believe, golden statues going to be placed in Animal Kingdom somewhere.”

[3/5] JoJo provides (limited) information about the upcoming changes for the 50th anniversary at Animal Kingdom. Other than that, it’s a vlog of JoJo’s date with Mel at the park.
