JoJo begins at the Orlando airport, where he explains where he’s going and what the vlog will be about. JoJo states, “I’m going to Texas. I’ve never been to Texas before. There’s a big zoo out there. I’m meeting up with my friend Mel because she has this event and she was like, ‘Hey, if you want to come you can come,’ and I’m like, “Sure, I’ve never been to Texas’, so that’s what we’re going to do today.” He vlogs his departure and flight from Orlando and arrival at Dallas/Fort Worth airport. He’s a little disoriented being at an airport that’s new to him, but finds Mel, who’s got a car to pick him up.
The vlog cuts to later than evening, when JoJo and Mel spend a night on the town in Fort Worth. They first visit a bowling lounge called “Bowlounge” with friends of Mel’s. Later, the group heads to Free Play, an arcade bar. There, JoJo encounters a Wreck-It Ralph (Fix-It Felix Jr.) arcade game and is quite excited by it, exclaiming, “I didn’t know Wreck-It Ralph actually came from a game! Wait, that’s so dope!” He and Mel have fun playing various arcade games, including Skee-Ball and Tron, before ending their evening eating tacos at Velvet Taco.

The following morning, JoJo and Mel visit Mamaka Bowls, a place for smoothies, in Fort Worth. The vlog then shifts to Mel’s friend’s home, where the JoJo and Mel are staying during their trip. JoJo points out that there are donkeys on the property. JoJo likes the animals, saying, “Look at them, they’re so cute.” Originally, JoJo and Mel had planned to leave to visit the zoo that day, but they find they have to stay at the house and attend a birthday party there instead.
The vlog cuts to the next day, with Mel driving JoJo to her favorite place in Fort Worth, Pop’s gym. The couple engages in a workout session together, after which JoJo admits, “I have concluded that I am weak. I’m not weak, but Mel kicked my butt. Hire her for a personal trainer.” Mel jokingly responds that she took it easy on him.

Following their workout, JoJo and Mel head to Joe T. Garcia’s restaurant for an authentic Mexican lunch. Later, the couple makes a stop at Billy Bob’s, which bills itself as “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk.” Mel shows JoJo around and he’s surprised and intrigued by hearing that the venue offers live bull riding.

Moving on, JoJo and Mel arrive at the Fort Worth Zoo with just an hour left before closing time. JoJo explains, “Mel used to be a member here, so she knows exactly where we’re going, which is great. I have a tour guide.” As they walk through the zoo, they view a variety of animals, including bonobos and mandrills. JoJo points out the mandrills, saying, “That’s what Rafiki’s based off of. Look at their… Oh my gosh, they’re beautiful.”
One of the highlights of their visit is feeding a giraffe. They purchase lettuce and JoJo gets giddy experiencing the giraffe eating the lettuce from his hand. Mel instructs JoJo on how to get the giraffes to approach, saying, “You just got to show it to them. Like, they just want it. It looks like money to them.”

The couple continues their tour, looking at rhinos, hippos, and meerkats along the way. They also visit the newly opened Elephant Springs area, but due to the lateness of the afternoon, they only manage to catch a distant glimpse of some elephants. JoJo concludes, “We don’t see any elephants though. They might have already turned in.”
However, Mel ensures that they don’t miss out on her favorite spot in the zoo, Stingray Cove. Here, JoJo and Mel have the chance to interact with the stingrays, petting and feeding them. JoJo is amazed by Mel’s connection with the stingrays, exclaiming, “Mel can literally speak to them or something. I’m convinced!”

As JoJo and Mel wrap up their visit to the zoo, they see a variety of other animals, including penguins, kangaroos, goats, and ocelots. Despite the short amount of time there, the couple enjoys their experience and the diverse wildlife they encountered. JoJo reflects, “We didn’t spend too much time here today, but we got a solid hour in, really enjoyed seeing the animals that we saw.”
After their zoo adventure, JoJo and Mel go to several food and drink places, trying to experience as many as possible. They stop by Summer Moon coffee shop, where they enjoy coffee, macarons, and a drink called a “Moon Drop.” Next, they grab a taco at Salsa Limón, a Mexican restaurant. JoJo mentions, “Mel said we have to get a taco here,” emphasizing the spot’s local popularity. After that, they get more tacos at another establishment, Torchy’s Tacos.

Following dinner, JoJo and Mel visit Holocron, a toy store specializing in Star Wars merchandise. JoJo comments on the variety of products available, from limited-edition comic books to action figures and themed cereal boxes.
As their Texas adventure comes to an end, JoJo and Mel go to the airport in the early hours of the morning. They first go to Love Field, where Mel is leaving from. JoJo says goodbye to her there and takes an Uber to DFW airport for his flight back to Orlando. Before concluding the vlog, JoJo shares his upcoming plans, mentioning, “I’m actually going to Universal today, so that’ll be an upcoming vlog. I’m going to check out all the Halloween decorations.”

[5/5] It’s a good travelogue, showing a lot of food and entertainment places to go to in Fort Worth. It also shows off the Fort Worth Zoo. The JoJo/Mel romance continues.
