In this vlog, JoJo and his girlfriend Krista visit Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. It’s JoJo’s first time back at the park “in a long time,” while it’s Krista’s second visit ever. The park is crowded and JoJo notes, “It’s summer, it’s going to be busy.” For the day, the ticket price is $110 (on Saturdays), with no discount available for annual passholders. JoJo compares this to Disney’s water parks, stating, “At least at Blizzard and Typhoon, if you are an annual passholder, if you’re buying a one-day ticket, you get a little bit of a discount.”
The first thing they do is visit the wave pool. JoJo compares Volcano Bay’s to Disney’s, saying “The waves are definitely more rhythmic and chill, which some people might prefer. Typhoon Lagoon, I feel like you’re fighting for your life sometimes.” When JoJo enters the water, he expresses discomfort, stating, “This is the one part of the water park I hate, the first dip. The water’s a little cold. I don’t got that much upper body fat, so it hits me like a brick.” Krista mentions that she hates falling and that’s why she won’t go on the nearby Ko’okiri Body Plunge. “I don’t find that to be thrilling. I just find that to be terrifying.”

After their time in the wave pool, JoJo and Krista make their way to the lazy river. As JoJo records, Krista attempts to secure tubes for them both. “Krista, you got to be savage, you got to get in there!” JoJo shouts at her. They both manage to grab a tube and start floating along. JoJo describes the water flow as “actually kind of strong.” He adds, “This is definitely an intense lazy river.”
JoJo and Krista make the circuit and finish the lazy river experience. After that, they head to the Krakatau Aqua Coaster. When they get there, they see that it has a long wait time. “235 minutes, that’s like, what, 2 hours? No, that’s more than that,” JoJo calculates. They don’t get in line, but do the TapuTapu virtual line instead.

While at the ride, they see someone they recognize. It’s Mike Majlak, who among other things does a podcast that JoJo’s friend Jete listens to. JoJo asks Mike to record a message for Jete. Mike obliges, saying to the camera, “What’s up, bro? We’re out here at Volcano Bay, and we’re $940 in and we haven’t even rode a ride yet, but the only thing that would make it better is if you were here, bro.”
JoJo and Krista proceed to the Kala and Tai Nui body slides, where they find another long wait time. However, a team member allows them to skip ahead without the wait. Krista explains, saying, “He only let us go on because six people got out of line, so we’re replacing those six people.” This incident plus the chance encounter with Mike prompts Krista to remark that JoJo is always “in the right place at the right time.”

As they climb the stairs to the top of the slide, JoJo tells viewers that he’s having Krista climb all that way just to record him dropping at the top. She’s not going to do the slide because, as mentioned, she doesn’t like to drop. For the slide, JoJo can’t record himself going down, because it’s against the park policy. Instead, he inserts a POV video of the slide from a different YouTube channel. At the bottom of the slide, JoJo says there is inconsistency with the rules of recording someone dropping. “One team member said we could bring up the phone and record. Another didn’t. Little miscommunication on their part,” he states.

After next taking 30 minutes to get food for Krista, despite using mobile ordering, they hear an announcement that inclement weather may close the water rides. Wanting to get in another ride before that happens, they look for one with a low wait. Tonga and Raki slides fit the bill, but while in line, the ride closes and they have to go back down the stairs. After exiting the queue, JoJo tells Krista, “I’ve actually never been to a water park during a lightning storm.” However, viewers would remember that he has in fact been to a water park during a lightning storm, when he was at H2O Glow at Typhoon Lagoon a year ago with his friend Ryan.
JoJo and Krista decide to wait and see if the weather improves. They spend time walking around the park and spending some time sitting in beach chairs for some people watching. Eventually though, they decide to give up and leave. JoJo says he feels bad that Krista didn’t get to go on any slides. Krista, however, takes partial responsibility, admitting, “I did not wake up early enough today. I decided to sleep in, knowing that it was probably going to rain.” JoJo uses the experience to provide a tip to viewers: “Get here early in the morning.” Despite it all, JoJo says, “Sometimes the day just doesn’t work out, but I’m happy because I got to spend it with Krista anyway.”

They hit a snag trying to exit, with a huge line of people trying to do the same. JoJo describes the unpleasant situation as “definitely not safe. I feel like I don’t know, maybe I’m freaking out.” They escape using a side exit that leads to the hotels and head to the Aventura resort lobby for a cool down and some refreshments. Krista doesn’t feel well, so they get drinks and later, some food from the resort’s food court. JoJo reflects at length on the day’s events, emphasizing his commitment to transparency: “I always want to be upfront and transparent with you guys and share my experience.” He expresses that he kind of feels bad showing the bad experience they just had with exiting the park.
After eating, JoJo and Krista board a resort bus to CityWalk in search of a Cinnabon for Krista. They find the CityWalk location closed, so they enter Islands of Adventure to get to the Cinnabon located there. Krista gets her cinnamon roll and JoJo concludes the vlog.

[1/5] Finally, over two years into their relationship, JoJo takes Krista to Volcano Bay. He went to Volcano Bay with his former girlfriend Mel three years ago, with her family, less than a month after they met.
This vlog may be the worst case of padding with filler that JoJo has ever done. The planned vlog of a day at Volcano Bay, which he has done a sufficient number of times before, should have ended shortly after the rain put an end to it around the 18 minute mark. However, he doubles that by adding a lot of filler of them doing not much of anything. He did it presumably to get to the length he wanted. No need to watch any of it.
JoJo does get credit for following the park rules, for a change, regarding video recording.
